Meet Our Teachers
Sheryl Hathaway/Director/Owner
Sheryl has been working in childcare for over 20 years. She has her Associates Degree and CDA in Early Childhood Development. She is very passionate about working with children.
Aja King/Assistant Director
Aja has worked in various roles with children her entire life. She's been with us since 2015 and is certified to teach infants, toddler, and preschool classes.
Katina Dennis/Assistant Director
Katina graduated with a Bachelor of Science and is working towards her Masters in Administration of Human Services. She's been with us since 2019 and is a certified pre-school teacher.
Faye Cox/Infant Teacher
Faye is our Infant Teacher and has worked over 30 years in the childcare industry. She's been with us since 2004 and is certified to teach infants, toddlers and preschool.
Julie Byrd/Toddler Teacher
Julie currently teachers our 2 year old class room. She's been with us since 2019 and is a certified to teach infant, toddlers and preschool.
Megan Durant/Preschool Teacher
Megan currently is responsible for educating our 3-year-old children. She has over 8 years experience and has been with us for over 2 years.
Maria DeJesus/Preschool Teacher
Maria graduated from Touro College, NY with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently teaching 4-year-old children with the emphasis on preparing them for Kindergarten.
Portia Evans/ Preschool Teacher
Portia has been with us for 3 years and is certified to teach infants, toddlers and preschool. She's CPR/First Aid certified and has enjoyed working with various age groups.
Kori Ternoski/School Age & Virtual Learning
Kori was hired in 2019 and is CPR/First Aid certified. She's currently responsible for school age children and virtual learning.
